Senior Session Planning

It’s that time of year! Heading into your final year of High School and what better way to celebrate, than by documenting it with beautiful pictures. The best way to enjoy that is preparation and we’re here to help at Creekside Studios.

CHOOSING SENIOR SESSION OUTFITS

Choosing senior sessions outfits can be stressful and overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Some planning can make a huge difference and make this experience super FUN and easy. We will definitely go over this at your planning meeting.

Here are some of my helpful planning tips:

• Please make sure outfits are ironed, hung together and have the matching accessories. (jewelry, shoes, belts, hats)

• Functional! choose clothing that you can sit, stand, squat, etc. so we can get the most out of posing options.

• Don’t forget undergarments. (Nude is best)

• Don’t forget to try on your outfits first. Choose items that fit well and are comfortable to move in.

• Variety! Dressy, Casual, Sports/college/school, fun.

• Don’t be afraid to overpack! It is better to bring extra, than not have what you want.

What to AVOID!

• Wrinkled clothing – Bring all your clothes on hanger, ironed or steamed.

• Dirty Shoes

• Too short dresses, shorts or skirt. It will make posing and moving more difficult.

• Undergarments that don’t match or bra straps that show

• Ill-fitting outfits that accentuate problem areas

Don’t forget to accessorize when planning your outfits. Necklaces, bracelets, scarves, hats, and other fun items.
